What is the WhatsApp Business app?
You may already know WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging app in the world with more than 1.6 billion monthly active users and more than 1 billion people use the app daily.
With such numbers there's no wonder the last few years it has become one of the favorites for businesses to provide customer support and sell their products and services. In fact a large amount of people prefer to interact with business via WhatsApp because chatting is really comfortable this days.

In order to migrate your account from the main app to the WhatsApp Business app first you need to create a backup of your chats in
Settings > Chats > Chat backup, after the backup is complete download WhatsApp Business and follow the steps given by the app.
Once you migrate your account uninstall the main WhatsApp app so there won't be any conflict afterwards.
The first time you open the WhatsApp Business app you will notice some design changes, but don't worry, everything is almost exactly the same as before. It's mainly the same app with additional features for your business like:
1. Edit your business profile:
- Company description
- Business address
- Business category
- Business hours
2. Create product and services catalog with this item info:
- Item code
3. Automatic messaging tools:
- Away message (reply when you are away)
- Greeting message (welcome new customers)
4. Set quick replies to reuse for frequent messages.
5. Create labels to organize chats and customers.
6. Short link. A unique account link different from Walink's short links.
